1st Alva Scouts were established in 1912 and the current hall was built in 1974 after extensive fundraising. The hall is located in the Johnstone park. These meet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays respectivley. The weekly subs will remain at 2. The subs are paid in blocks of 4 weeks or can be paid for the full term. Our District camp at Barrwood Campsite will be from 17 19 May 2013.
Every family needs to help in order to keep things running. and we need more adults to help run activities with the young people.

7 Apr 06 - 1 Mar 17. Scout and Explorer Summer Camp will take place at Walesby Scout Centre from Saturday July 29th to Saturday 5th August 2017. Many thanks to all who have supported the group this past year. If you would like to volunteer for the Group - either as a Leader or for some other role within the group, the please contact us, or pop up to one of our meetings. We currently have a need for a Quartermaster to keep track of all our camp kit.
